MiniMax Guide mount

ADM Accessories is proud to introduce one of the finest adjustable aiming devices ever offered to amateur astronomers.  The goal of the Mini-MAX was to offer amateurs an alternative adjustable aiming device to guidescope rings.  This device makes it possible to co-align two optical tubes or purposely offset two optical tubes to find a suitable guidestar for autoguiding.  The Mini-MAX was based on the successful design of the “D” Series MAX-Guider aiming device.  The Mini-MAX was designed entirely for the Vixen “V” series of dovetail bars to help reduce the overall weight to under 2 lbs and is more than capable of handling any guidescope or finderscope under 10lbs.  The Mini-MAX offers a generous 10 degrees of Azimuth adjustment and 5 degrees of altitude adjustment.  The Mini-MAX is 6.4″ long and adds approximately 2″ of height (from top of dovetail on OTA to bottom dovetail on guidescope/finderscope) and is only 2lbs.  Every part of the Mini-Max has been CNC machined aircraft quality 6061 aluminum. All components are anodized aluminum and stainless steel for a beautiful finish and long lasting durability.  The Mini-MAX can be used either piggyback or Side-By-Side with the addition of a male to male dovetail inserted into one of the Side-By-Side adapters.  See optional accessories below.
