Description
The Logic Energy Wind Logger (LeWL) is a battery-powered device that works with one or two wind speed sensors, and/or a wind direction vane.
Setup is either direct – via serial cable (not included), or by programming the SD card with your PC and plugging it in. Note that this requires an SD card reader (not included). Setting up the SD card is very simple – there are only a few settings:
Date & time
Wind speed sensor model
Data logging interval: 10 seconds, 1 minute, or ten minutes (choices are fixed)
The data stored for each interval includes:
Date & time
Temperature in degrees C (at the logger itself – not the sensors)
Wind direction
Max, average, and standard deviation for wind sensor 1 in meters per second
Max, average, and standard deviation for wind sensor 2 in meters per second
(Anemometer sold separatly)
